Terms & Conditions

1. Winners will be able to choose any one week, within 12 months from the draw date (with the exception of a conflict with other pre-scheduled events).
2. Residents of the State of Hawaii are excluded from participating.
3. Immediate family members of the organizers are excluded from participating.
4. By purchasing a ticket, one agrees that should he/she win, he/she will: a. Sign an agreement pledging to treat the property respectfully. b. Will maintain the discreetness of this private property, including not posting photos of videos on social media (e.g. Facebook), as per the owner’s request. c. Be respectful of the local staff and property management.
5. Airfare included is from the continental U.S. to Kauai, Hawaii, round-trip. This does not include inter-island trips or multi-city stops.
6. Tickets purchased are non-refundable.
7. The draw will be held on Elul 18, 5772, corresponding to September 5, 2012.
8. The draw will be filmed, in the presence of witnesses and posted online.
9. Winners may gift the winning ticket to family or friends, provided all above rules are kept.

“GANI” is a Jewish organization on Kauai, serving the hundreds of Jewish people living on Kauai, as well as the many tourists who visit. We are the last Jewish Community in the West, and – geographically – the most remote on the planet.

All proceeds of ticket sales will benefit our non-profit organization.

The name GANI (lit. “My Garden”) is paraphrased from the Midrash commenting on Song of Songs (5:1), where King Solomon (Shlomo haMelech) describes G-d’s delight when Heaven meets Earth, in a paradise-like state. This divine Garden of Eden is our vision for Kauai, the Garden Island.

Our mission is twofold:
